How to Cast Spells

The growth of the self development industry has moved people towards taking control of their own lives and this also relates to the world of magic and how to cast spells.

Spell casting would have been a controversial topic years ago, but it appears that many people are taking ownership of their personal development and connecting with their personal power.

Here is a very simple format for doing rituals for all spells: Create a serene environment in your own space where ever that may be and where you won’t be disturbed. Visualise a circle of white light around you. Next, invite the four directions, or quarters, north, south, east and west. See them as earthy, fiery, airy and watery beings. Then, a candle of intention should be lit and incense burned (frankincense is good).

Now with the mood prepared, you are now ready to start your spell.

See clearly what you want to create in your mind’s eye. You can draw it as a symbol or picture on a small piece of paper. Don’t worry if art isn’t your thing! And now, what ever comes to you speak out loud, or whisper what you want to create.

You can speak for seconds or a few minutes, there is no limit really. It’s up to you. When your speaking is finished, state “So mote it be” out loud.

Roll up your paper containing your symbol or drawing. Using a flame proof surface – either a metal sink, hearth or cauldron for example, use your candle to burn it and meditate on its ash and smoke disappearing into the air. Your spell is complete.

So, which spells to do?! It depends on you. There are many beginners books on rituals and spells but whatever life situation you can think of, a spell will exist for it. Life areas commonly covered in spells are break up spells to heal the pain, love and relationships, house and home, work and career, health and pets.

Your own book of shadows spells will always be heartening to open when you feel the need to cast, as they are your own personal works. Then there are the styles of spells such as easy love spells, easy spells (meaning you don’t have to get elaborate with your ritual), luck spells and binding spells.

Some people want to buy spells which I always find amusing because they think they need an expert – you don’t. Of course, get advice and instruction from the more practiced, but you shouldn’t need to pay someone to cast simple spells or real magic spells for you. I see people wanting spells such as free money spells, free witch spells and free witchcraft spells. You can do them yourself for free.

These will also be more powerful as you are the one with the desire for a particular outcome. Another person won’t have this like you do.

Spells that are not recommended are black magic spells, black magic love spells, evil spells, voodoo spells, spells and curses together, revenge spells and death spells.

Dabbling in any form of darkness where harm is wished upon another is forbidden in the world of witch craft spells.
