Once you have done this it is important to cleanse yourself and the atmosphere.  You can make yourself a ritual bath with a drop each of rosemary, sandalwood, myrrh and frankincense essential oils.  This clears the energies of the day away and sets the mind for focused work.  Breathe in the aromas as you concentrate on your ritual goal.

Preferably you should be alone in your house (or outside) or at least have a room to yourself where you know you won’t be disturbed.  Once back in the ritual room, smolder some incense of 2 parts frankincense, 1 part Myrrh and 1/2 part cinnamon. Light some candles, ideally green for north, red for south, blue for west and yellow or white for east.  Place these candles around you in a circle in the appropriate quarters and stand in the middle.

Now draw a circle with your hand outstretched three times around you, visualizing white light coming out of your hand.  Some use a wand or athame (ritual knife) for this but for beginners, your hand is fine.  With your circle of white light around you, you are now ready to start your spell.

Sit in the middle of your circle and take your drawing or written goal.  Recite out loud and keep it where you can see it. Visualize your goal manifest.  You are being it, having it, it is yours.

Now close the circle by ‘undrawing’ the circle, anticlockwise this time.  Thank the quarters for their presence.

Free Black Magic Spells – beware what you wish for.

The growth of the self development industry has moved people towards taking control of their own lives and this also relates to the world of magic and how to cast spells.

Spell casting would have been a controversial topic years ago, but it appears that many people are taking ownership of their personal development and connecting with their personal power.

Here is a very simple format for doing rituals for all spells: Create a serene environment in your own space where ever that may be and where you won’t be disturbed. Visualise a circle of white light around you. Next, invite the four directions, or quarters, north, south, east and west. See them as earthy, fiery, airy and watery beings. Then, a candle of intention should be lit and incense burned (frankincense is good).

Now with the mood prepared, you are now ready to start your spell.

See clearly what you want to create in your mind’s eye. You can draw it as a symbol or picture on a small piece of paper. Don’t worry if art isn’t your thing! And now, what ever comes to you speak out loud, or whisper what you want to create.

You can speak for seconds or a few minutes, there is no limit really. It’s up to you. When your speaking is finished, state “So mote it be” out loud.

Roll up your paper containing your symbol or drawing. Using a flame proof surface – either a metal sink, hearth or cauldron for example, use your candle to burn it and meditate on its ash and smoke disappearing into the air. Your spell is complete.

So, which spells to do?! It depends on you. There are many beginners books on rituals and spells but whatever life situation you can think of, a spell will exist for it.
